VerifactAI is designed to offer fact-checking services for texts, enabling users ("you") to verify the credibility of information contained within their files/documents or text submissions.

VerifactAI can verify the following statements as single facts in the text, but is not limited to: Names, Dates or Events, Locations, Historical Events, Quotes, Legal Information, Statistics, Awards and Achievements.

A statement or fact is only considered to be something that can be objectively verified. The app does not verify the author's subjective opinions or assumptions.

VerifactAI works equally well for input in different languages and the result will be in English only. The app is driven by AI.

You must be at least 18 years old to use our Service. By agreeing to these Terms, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age to form a binding contract with the Company.

To access the Service, you are required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the Service.

You pay for our Services by purchasing words to scan. You will get your first 3000 words for free after creating an account. Then, you can purchase any quantity of words as needed, without a subscription. Available packages are €10 for 10,000 words; €25 for 25,000 words; and €50 a 50,000 words.

Therefore, after you have bought a package with the appropriate number of words, these words will be deducted from your account depending on the number of words that your text to be checked contains. You will always see in real time how many words you have left. If the number of words in the text you check out exceeds the balance on your account, the app will not be able to scan it until you buy more words.

To facilitate your purchase of words to fact-check, we require your credit card information. However, please note that we do not directly handle payment processing. Instead, this task is managed by Stripe, a reputable payment processing company. When you input your credit card details on our site for credit purchases, we do not retain, use, or store this information. Your financial details are securely transmitted to Stripe, which then processes the payment on your credit card. After transmission, we no longer have access to your financial information.

All intellectual property rights related to the Service and its original content, trademarks, logos, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Diletta Luna OÜ and its licensors. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any of the App's intellectual property without the Company's prior written consent.

You retain all rights to any text or files you submit through the Service ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. The Company does not guarantee the accuracy, quality, reliability, completeness, or usefulness of any information provided and disclaim all liability for any errors or omissions in the information.

VerifactAI is not entirely reliable in determining the accuracy of all scanned facts. In other words, it cannot guarantee complete accuracy when assessing whether facts and/or statements are entirely true or false. We do not warrant that its functions will meet your specific requirements or be error-free or completely accurate. Therefore, it should not be solely relied upon for the purpose of verifying facts, measurements, statistics, data, or other information.

It is the user's responsibility to independently verify and check the accuracy and validity of any facts contained in the scanned content. Diletta Luna OÜ will not be held liable for any errors made by the app. We strongly recommend using VerifactAI as a supplementary tool and cross-referencing its results with other reliable sources to ensure the highest level of accuracy. VerifactAI should only be used as a fact-checking tool and should not be considered as an ultimate and 100% source of truth.

In no event will the Company, its affiliates, employees, agents, or licensors be liable for any indirect, direct, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

You agree that:

- You are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information when using the App.

- You must not use the App for any unlawful, misleading, or fraudulent purposes.

- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.

- Any contact/personal information provided by you to us is true and accurate.

- You will not disrupt or interfere with the security of the App or otherwise abuse the App or any services, system resources, accounts, servers, or networks connected to or accessible through the App.

- You will not transmit through or on the App any viruses or other harmful, disruptive, or destructive files.

- You will not use, frame, or utilize framing techniques to enclose VerifactAI trademark, logo, or other proprietary information (including images/text found on our App or the layout/design of any page or form on our App).

- You will not reverse engineer or create derivative works based on our App or any content available through our App, including without limitation, any software.

- You will not obtain or attempt to obtain unauthorized access to our App or areas of the App that are restricted from general access.

Without our prior written consent, you may not:

- Copy, reproduce, use, or sell content found on the App.

- Use the content of the App for any commercial purpose.

The Company reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App and services at any time, without prior notice, for any reason whatsoever, including if you breach these Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Estonia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Estonia.
